The history of the products of the Swiss company Herbamedicus began long before the founding of the company in Zurich in 2006. At the very beginning there was a successful recipe, proven by generations, for a herbal balm based on horse chestnut, called Pferdebalsam, which was prepared by the local pharmacist and herbalist in the town of Schwyz. Its composition was then passed on through several generations until it came into the hands of the founders of Herbamedicus.The original traditional recipe for Pferdebalsam based on 25 herbs is currently deposited in the companys headquarters in Switzerland. The original recipe, respectively its manufacturing process, was adapted for the use of the current manufacturing technologies.
